Silk is a recurring crafting item in the Epic Battle Fantasy series, introduced in Epic Battle Fantasy 3. It appears as a sheet of white silk cloth, folded in the middle to almost appear as two square patches. It is a common forging material, mainly being used to upgrade cloth hats and armor to their third, fourth, or final levels.

In Epic Battle Fantasy 3, Silk can be bought in The Town for 3,000 gold once it has been found elsewhere. To complete all of the relevant upgrades, 81 are required.

In Epic Battle Fantasy 4, Silk is available in the Misc Shop of Whitefall Town and Goldenbrick Resort. It costs 2,500 gold, and 441 are needed to upgrade everything.

Epic Battle Fantasy 5 gave Silk a minor visual update. It can be purchased in the Material Shops of Greenwood Village, Mystic Woods, The Great Sea and Redpine Town for 2,100 gold apiece; 77 are needed for the relevant upgrades.

Silk has been dropped by a wide variety of foes over the course of its appearances, mainly ones with a Holy affinity, an insectoid appearance, or prominent cloth elements in their design.
