The Angel Wing is a Holy-elemental bow available for Anna in Epic Battle Fantasy 4 and 5. In EBF4, it is exclusive to the Steam release of the game and the post-Battle Mountain update version of the Premium Pack.

Description

True to its name, the Angel Wing is a bow styled to resemble feathery wings. It seems to have a beige base frame with the grip and two off-white "wings" attached to the limbs, with the tips acting as the anchors for the bow string. Its arrows appear to be made entirely of white light with a blue aura.

The Angel Wing tends to have middle-of-the road offenses and a good Accuracy boost, as well as the ability to power up Anna's Holy skills and inflict Weaken with its weapon-elemental skills. Its most notable trait is often its ability to cast Arrow Rain between turns, letting Anna passively damage and afflict an entire wave of foes.

Epic Battle Fantasy 4

The Angel Wing provides decent bonuses to both Attack and Magic Attack, as well as a good increase in Accuracy. It's not particularly powerful from an offensive standpoint - especially since the only skill in Anna's base kit that it boosts is the gimmicky Soul Arrow - but the ability to passively cast Arrow Rain provides a wealth of possibilities by way of idly inflicting status effects on multiple foes at once. While the bow's innate ailment is Weaken, it can be changed to several other status conditions with the correct Flair, allowing the player to rain down the effect of their choosing without even lifting a finger.

The Angel Wing resists Holy, Earth and Weaken, with the latter becoming an immunity at Level 5.

Epic Battle Fantasy 5

Normal

The Angel Wing has a good amount of Attack, Magic Attack, and Accuracy, as well as a boost to Holy skills (like Anna's Blessed Barrage) and a reasonable chance to give her Auto-Revive every turn, but its best asset is its chance to cast Arrow Rain between turns. Although the skill's damage isn't particularly notable, it can spread status effects to an entire wave of foes at once; the bow naturally inflicts Weaken, but the right Flairs can let Anna inflict all sorts of different effects. In particular, the Curse inflicted by the Crossbone Pin will give her own shots a little more punch while weakening enemy defenses.

However, Arrow Rain's trigger chance is not that high; on average, it'll activate every sixth turn. Although the skill proper has a cooldown turn, it's short enough that the Angel Wing's auto-skill generally won't make a substantial difference outside of occasionally prolonging whatever status Anna's spreading en masse. It's usually more efficient to manually apply the status effects with the Alchemist's Bow, since it increases their effectiveness against resistant foes.

The Angel Wing resists Holy, Fire, Tired, and Weaken, becoming immune to the latter two at Level 5.

Equip Remix

What the Alt Angel Wing lacks in status-spreading potential, it makes up for with easily-accessible offense. It has strong Attack, serviceable Magic Attack, and nice Accuracy, which works well with its three elemental boosts: Wind, Thunder, and Holy, all of which Anna can use with her base move set and shared skills alike. Additionally, its Weapon-elemental skills can Weaken their targets to slowly reduce their offensive threat.

The Alt Angel Wing can be considered Anna's equivalent to the Alt Dark Tooth staff; a straightforward offensive weapon that complements her base stats and her natural skill set while providing minor utility with its on-hit status. It can be paired with the Alt Ninja Skirt to double-boost Wind, Thunder, and Holy skills; alternatively, using it with armor such as the Alt Camo Skirt or the Alt Fur Dress will empower the majority of Anna's elemental attacks. Even outside of its boosted elements, it's a solid offensive bow, being tied with the Alt Fairy Bow for the second-highest Attack of them all; it lacks bulk, an unleash, or a counter skill, but its triple elemental boost gives it more powerful coverage options without the risks of Alt Fenrir's Jaw.

The Alt Angel Wing has resistances to Wind, Holy, and Dark. It doesn't become immune to any of them at Level 5.

Epic Battle Fantasy 4

The Angel Wing is found at the summit of Battle Mountain, in a chest on the lower right corner of the shop screen. The chest is accessible after defeating all four Dark Players; Winged Boots are required to get this far.

Epic Battle Fantasy 5

The Angel Wing is found in the Mystic Woods, inside a chest surrounded by brown bamboo. The chest can be reached via a hidden path one screen to the east, and is guarded by a battle that appears as a Wise Mirror.
