ROBO

ROBO is a miniboss and a summon in Epic Battle Fantasy 5 introduced in the v2 update. It is found in a secret room right next to the Iron Fortress's main entrance, which becomes accessible once the Axe is obtained.
Appearance
ROBO is a grey robot with red eyes rendered in an 8-bit style. It appears to have a skull for a face and four wheels, two red eyes, and its arms are tipped with red prongs which apparently act as tasers.
ROBO's arcade room is located within a crevice outside Lance's Iron Fortress and is one of two that features NPCs. The two occupants (Kiev and his son) have taken refugee due to the presence of an impending apocalypse (his son complaining that he hates his new home because rats ate his shoes) much to Lance's displeasure. The makeshift base also appears to have housed other unwanted guests, with an infestation consisting of Flybots, a Creep, and a Squid.
Overview
As mentioned in its bestiary description, ROBO's attacks are very accurate, and many of them are guaranteed to be critical hits; this gives it great damage output, despite its mediocre offensive stats. As a result, Brave should be applied to reduce its potential damage. Like all Arcade foes, ROBO only has 25% elemental attacks, meaning that resistance is much less effective than normal. Instead, they should focus on getting resistance to Confuse, Stun, and Dispel, which ROBO can inflict repeatedly if left unchecked. Much like the Gray Pixel, ROBO's low base HP is offset by incredible defensive stats.
ROBO is weak to Thunder, Bomb, and Water, resists Fire and Ice, and is immune to Wind and Bio. With "More Foe Resistance" enabled, it absorbs Thunder and Holy.

ROBO gains up to 24% extra Attack, Magic Attack, HP and Accuracy depending on how many optional bosses have been killed, medals awarded and monster cards obtained:
- +1% for each of the 13 optional bosses (counting the Sketch bosses as a single boss) for a 13% total. Bosses included are: ??.@'¬?]-?e??255, Snowflake, The Sketch Boss Rush, Sól and Skadi, Neon Valhalla, Telperion, Vulcan, Crystal Hydra, Matteus, Natalia, Lancelot, Annabelle and God.
- +1% at the 50, 65, 80, and 100 medals thresholds, for a 4% total.
- +0.04% for each of the 50 Monster Cards obtained, for a 2% total.
- +0.2% for each of the 12 Arcade bosses, the 8 Data Bunker simulations, and the 5 1P Challenges in the Battle Arena; for a 5% total.
After level 22, ROBO gains a 5% boost to Attack and Magic Attack, and a 2.5% boost to HP and Accuracy on every level-up (these boosts stack additively, acting as a multiplier). This boost caps out at level 36.

Battle Logic
The following describes general logic of the enemy and attack patterns, with chances of each attack to be used. Conditions are listed from highest to lowest priority unless specified otherwise.
Action
- If catch score >55 and all players are Lovable → Nothing*;
- If Syphoned → Electrocute;
- If Berserked → Robo Explosion;
- Otherwise → Robo Explosion (1/3), Slam (1/3), Electrocute (1/3).
* "Nothing" also gives ROBO 2x Berserk.
* Slam always targets the best Dispel target based on player buffs, ignoring Lovable and Target.
Additionally, ROBO will retarget to a different player if their originally selected target is Confused or Stunned (unless no other targets are available).
Counter (only if Counter-Attacking Foes is enabled)
- 25% and not Syphoned → Robo Explosion.
Summon
ROBO can be captured to be used as a summon; it can also be called between turns by the Alt Power Paw. It uses Robo Explosion to hit a single foe for decent magical Thunder damage, also having a high chance to inflict Stun and an extreme Accuracy debuff.
