Brick
- "Put them together to build a house or something."
- ―In-game description, Epic Battle Fantasy 4
The Brick is a recurring crafting item in the Epic Battle Fantasy series, introduced in Epic Battle Fantasy 3. It is a reddish-brown brick with eight small holes (in EBF3 & 4) or two square holes (in EBF5) in its sides. It is used for forging mostly Earth-related equipment, as well as heavy or bulky weapons and armor.
Like the Snowball, the Brick is a throwable item in EBF5, dealing Earth-elemental damage with below-average accuracy and a chance to make the target Berserk. It also applies Target to the user, which is particularly useful before the Target Badge or Agnry Faic Flairs become available or if the player wants to encourage enemies to trigger the user's counter skill.
In all three games, Bricks can be bought for 40 gold apiece in any Material Shop. To upgrade everything, 45 are needed in Epic Battle Fantasy 3, 29 are needed in Epic Battle Fantasy 4, and 78 are needed in Epic Battle Fantasy 5.
