Emerald is a recurring crafting item in the Epic Battle Fantasy series, introduced in Epic Battle Fantasy 3. It is a green gemstone with an emerald cut (a rectangle with the corners cut off to give it an eight-sided edge). It is used for forging mostly Earth- and Poison-related equipment.

In EBF3, Emeralds can be bought in The Town for 8,880 gold. In order to upgrade everything, 37 will be needed.

In EBF4, Emeralds can be bought in Goldenbrick Resort for 9,000 gold. 43 are required in order to upgrade everything.

In EBF5, the Emerald had a slight graphical update and became a darker shade of green. It can be bought in Greenwood Village, Mystic Woods, The Great Sea, and Redpine Town for 9,900 gold; 76 are needed for all of the relevant upgrades.

Drop Rate

Emeralds are mostly dropped from Earth-based creatures and certain foes with predominantly green coloration or prominent gems in their design.
