Emerald Earrings

The Emerald Earrings are a Flair available in Epic Battle Fantasy 5.

Description

The Emerald Earrings are a pair of earrings with a pear-cut emerald mounted on a similarly-shaped brown wooden frame. Each frame has a silver clip at the top and a pair of small twigs sticking out of the sides. Being earrings, they are worn on the character's ears when equipped.

The Emerald Earrings allow the wearer's weapon to inflict Poison, replacing any status effect it naturally inflicts; if multiple status-changing Flairs are worn simultaneously, the leftmost one takes priority. While often outclassed by the Tentacle's ability to inflict Virus, they can be useful before the Tentacle is acquired, if the party needs damage over time without the risk of it spreading back to them, or just to supplement their elemental resistances.

The Emerald Earrings moderately resist Bio, or Earth if Equip Remix is enabled.

Epic Battle Fantasy 5

The Emerald Earrings are found inside a chest in Hope Harbor, on the same screen as the Slime Cat. The chest is at the end of a small dock in the northeastern corner of the screen, guarded by a battle that appears as a Sandstone Boulder.
