The Ninja Chopsticks are a female hat found in Epic Battle Fantasy 5. Their armor counterpart is the Ninja Skirt, and their male equipment counterparts are the Basket Hat and the Ninja Gear.
Description
The Ninja Chopsticks style the wearer's hair into a small bun, held up by a pair of chopsticks and a small brown band. A Shuriken is worn on either side of the head, just behind the bangs.
Normal
The Ninja Chopsticks provide small boosts to Defence and Magic Defence, along with the second-highest bonuses to Accuracy and Evade (only behind the Robot Ears in the former and the Bunny Ears in the latter). They also increase the power of thrown items - Shurikens, Snowballs, Hand Bombs, and Bricks.
As the only female hat with a throwing boost, the Ninja Chopsticks are mandatory for a throwing build, along with the Ninja Skirt. Aside from this niche, they're mainly notable for their combination of great Accuracy and Evade, but the former is rarely important outside of fights with Giant Enemies or certain evasive foes. They have some use in an Evade- based Target Tank build, especially since their empowered Bricks can give their wearer the maximum stacks of Target, but the Bunny Ears have even more Evade (which they can boost further on Defend) and a chance of granting Haste between turns.
The Ninja Chopsticks resist Thunder, Wind, Tired, and Weaken, with the latter two becoming an immunity at Level 5.
Equip Remix
The Alt Ninja Chopsticks provide modest Attack and Magic Attack, in addition to raising Accuracy and Evade to degrees only surpassed by the Alt Cat Ears. They greatly increase the power and effectiveness of thrown items, being the only female hat to do so, but they're most notable for their ability to summon a Cat Ninja between turns, granting a random party member the ever-valuable Haste status.
Aside from their obvious use in a throwing build, the Alt Ninja Chopsticks work best for Evade-based Target Tanking; they can give Anna a great Evade boost on top of providing Cat Ninja support for the party. However, the auto-summon has a mediocre trigger chance and targets a random player, so manually casting Encore is more efficient if the players have a turn to spare. They also face stiff competition from the Alt Cat Ears (which have better Evade and the odd Auto-Revive) and the Alt Bunny Ears (which have identical Evade and many on-Defend boosts).
The Alt Ninja Chopsticks resist Thunder, Wind, Tired, and Weaken, becoming immune to the latter two at Level 5.

Trivia
- The Ninja Chopsticks have similarities to the Skull Hairclip from Epic Battle Fantasy 3. Both consist of chopsticks and small items worn on the side of the hair, and their stats emphasize Accuracy and Evade over Defence and Magic Defence (although the Ninja Chopsticks have slightly less Accuracy and significantly more Evade than the Skull Hairclip).
- The Ninja Chopsticks garner the same reaction from Natalie as the Drill Bits when she wears either hat into battle for the first time.
