Geode is a recurring crafting item in the Epic Battle Fantasy series, introduced in Epic Battle Fantasy 3. It is a piece of grey-brown stone with a vivid blue-green crystal interior, used for forging mostly Earth, Bio, and Wind-themed equipment.
In EBF3, Geode can be bought in The Town for 6,660 gold. In order to upgrade all of the relevant equipment, 35 will be needed.
In EBF4, Geode can be bought in Whitefall Town and Goldenbrick Resort for 7,000 gold. The player needs 57 to upgrade everything.
In EBF5, Geode had a slight graphical update, appearing more like a raw stone than the "lemon wedge" shape of previous games. It can be bought in any Material Shop for 600 gold, and 53 are required to upgrade all of the relevant gear.
Drop Rate
Geode is mostly dropped by Earth-based foes. In Epic Battle Fantasy 4 and 5, it also has an 8% chance to drop from a boulder smashed by The Hammer.
