Blade of Heaven
The Blade of Heaven is a foe in Epic Battle Fantasy 4. It appears only in the final battle alongside The Creator, serving as the light counterpart of the Blade of Hell summoned by The Destroyer.
Appearance
The Blade of Heaven is a mechanical appendage connected to the Creator via dark gold cables with bright gold accents. Its main "body" resembles a golden version of the Laser Turret, but with the barrels replaced by a long, slightly curved silver blade. A small blue section is visible in the middle of the blade, with intricate white runes written on it. A second, smaller blade is attached to the protrusion on top of the "body".
Overview
The Blade of Heaven uses two physical non-elemental attacks; a powerful single-target stab and a multi-target slash. Its purpose is to simply increase The Creator's damage output and give the party another target to worry about in the final battle. It's not difficult to kill, but the speed at which The Creator can replace lost Blades means incapacitation tactics using debuffs/status effects like Weaken and Tired will prove to be more efficient. Try using area-of-effect attacks to inflict status effects, such as Gaia Blossom or possibly Anna's Arrow Rain with the right piece of equipment.
The Blade of Heaven has significant weaknesses to Water and Thunder, a severe weakness to Bomb, and an extreme weakness to Dark; on the other hand, it absorbs Holy, is immune to Poison, and resists all other elements. Its status resistances are limited to a Poison immunity and solid resistances to Burn and Freeze.
