The Spark Wraith is a foe in Epic Battle Fantasy 4. It is mostly found in the lower portions of the Temple of Godcat.

Appearance

The Spark Wraith is a ghostly figure whose features are obscured by its ragged brown and white cloak. A pair of glowing yellow eyes are visible in the shadows of its hood, and a pair of large, branching brown horns protrude from the top of its cloak.

Overview

The Spark Wraith is a mid-tier foe that uses single-target physical attacks. Aside from its non-elemental Double Stab, it has two Thunder skills and a Dark attack. Its most dangerous skill is Shock, which deals a decent amount of pure Thunder damage with a 50% Stun chance; this can seriously interfere with the party's strategy, especially in groups. Afflicting it with Syphon will limit it to Double Stab, greatly reducing its threat level.

The Spark Wraith absorbs both Thunder and Dark while being very weak to Ice, Holy and Wind; it's also immune to Tired, Curse, Doom, and Instant Death. Activating "More Foe Resistance" greatly reduces its weaknesses (especially Holy) while giving it strong resistances to having its Magic Attack and Magic Defence debuffed.

Like other EBF4 Wraiths, the Spark Wraith can drop a Donut when killed, but the 1% drop rate means that it is generally not worth farming for.
