The Eagle Eye is a non-elemental bow available for Anna in Epic Battle Fantasy 4 and 5.

Description

The Eagle Eye is a modern compound bow made primarily out of brown metal. It has two cams at the end of each limb, which work to bend the bow; strangely, it appears to lack cables to operate them. It has also a stabilizer - the protruding bar at the grip level - to balance the bow and make easier to aim, as well as to absorb the vibrations from shooting. It fires metallic arrows with slightly rounded, shovel-like heads and a small ring at their tails. 

True to its name, the Eagle Eye's best stat is its Accuracy, being Anna's most accurate weapon in both games it has appeared in; this is further emphasized with its ability to counter attacks with Piercing Shot, which is all but guaranteed to hit its target. It also offers a significant Evade boost, Stagger resistance that becomes an immunity at Level 5, and middling to low offenses, making it effective at picking off weak foes with high Evade or powerful Accuracy debuffs. 

Epic Battle Fantasy 4

The Eagle Eye has a bronze, metallic sheen and beige gears for cams, with its arrows being the same shade of bronze as the majority of the bow.

The Eagle Eye has the highest Accuracy and Evade of any bow, average Attack, and a subpar Magic Attack. It counter-attacks with Piercing Shot, which will effectively never miss with its Accuracy bonus stacked with the bow's massive Accuracy stat.

The Eagle Eye resists Stagger, becoming immune to the status at Level 5.

Epic Battle Fantasy 5

The Eagle Eye received a visual update for EBF5, being less shiny and darker-colored overall. Its limbs are sandy brown, its grip, stabilizer, and arrows are dark brown, and the gears on its cams have been replaced with grey and silver wheels.

Normal

With gargantuan Accuracy and impressive Evade, the Eagle Eye allows Anna to perforate even the most evasive foes with arrows while dodging much of their retaliation; however, its Attack isn't particularly outstanding and its Magic Attack is below-average. Its abilities make dodging even more difficult for the opposition; it counters attacks with Piercing Shot, its weapon-elemental skills can inflict Bad Luck to targets, and it can randomly cast Bind and give Anna Good Luck between turns. These aspects work in concert with each other and the bow's innate stats to ensure that Anna never, ever misses while also having a good dodge chance; the combination of Good Luck and Bad Luck also improves her chances of capturing foes and scoring critical hits, among other small bonuses.

The Eagle Eye provides resistances to Tired, Weaken, Confuse, Stagger, Syphon, and Disable. All of these resistances become an immunity at Level 5.

Equip Remix

The Alt Eagle Eye is a support weapon that cripples its targets with pinpoint precision. While its offenses are poor, it has incredible Accuracy, fairly high Evade, and a number of ways to debilitate foes. It can cast Bind between turns to debuff enemy Evade, and its weapon-elemental skills can inflict a significant Attack debuff while having a good chance to Stun their targets. Its shots also have a chance to unleash Slow Down, allowing them to Stun foes even if the arrow itself fails to do so (or if its status has been changed by a Flair), and a Piercing Shot counterattack means that Anna can immediately apply these effects if her enemies come after her.

The Alt Eagle Eye is a fine weapon for a debuffer Anna build, being able to easily immobilize foes and debuff two stats at the same time. With the help of status Flairs, it can sacrifice a bit of Stun consistency in exchange for being able to apply other ailments, enabling further combos for the party and impediments for the enemy side. It can also be used for capturing (since it can apply Stun effects and Evade debuffs) and farming (due to stealing items with Anna's Normal Attack).

The Alt Eagle Eye provides resistances to Tired, Weaken, Bad Luck, Curse, Syphon, and Disable, becoming immune to all of them at Level 5.

Epic Battle Fantasy 4

The Eagle Eye is found in Ashwood Forest on the metal bridge screen. It is in the chest blocked by a battle that appears as a Flame Sprite.

Epic Battle Fantasy 5

The Eagle Eye is obtained in Hope Harbor, one screen west of Matt's House, as a reward for completing Jerry's quest.
