Yellow Slime
The Yellow Slime is a foe in Epic Battle Fantasy 3. It appears mostly around the desert area of the Kitten Kingdom Ruins.
Appearance
The Yellow Slime lives up to its name by being a round yellow blob with beady black eyes and a cat-like smile. It can have an antenna or a Magnet embedded in its body, or have small red spots on its cheeks and a lightning bolt-shaped tail made of more slime.
Overview
The Yellow Slime is the Thunder-based member of its family, using Thunderbolt for pure magical damage or an electrified version of the basic jump attack used by all Slimes. The latter attack is weaker than Thunderbolt, but it's only partially elemental and has a modest Stun chance to potentially immobilize its target. Although it's one of the stronger Slimes in Epic Battle Fantasy 3, that isn't saying much; even without resistance to Thunder and Stun, its moves aren't too threatening. On the defensive side of things, it has low HP and only one elemental resistance, so the party can easily dispose of it with multi-target attacks while focusing on more dangerous enemies in the wave.
The Yellow Slime absorbs Thunder while being weak to Poison; its Stun immunity and weakness to Doom and Death are largely irrelevant, given its frailty.

- The 3rd variant of the foe is a reference to Pikachu from the Pokémon franchise.
- The Yellow Slime is one of only two types of EBF3 Slime to have no Giant counterpart, the other being the Furry Slime.
