"Slowly killing off foes with poison ain't really my style, but whatever works I guess."
―Matt, Epic Battle Fantasy 4

Nettle is a Bio-based skill available for Matt in Epic Battle Fantasy 3, 4 and 5.

Description

Matt thrusts his weapon into the ground, which causes a thorny green plant to emerge from the ground and puncture the target. This may also Poison the target.

In EBF3, Nettle is very good at inflicting Poison, which makes it rather useful despite its low power. In EBF4, its Poison chance was greatly lowered, making it strictly inferior to Bamboo Trap once it becomes available. In EBF5, it is similar to EBF4, but the removal of Bamboo Trap as a shared skill means that it has a niche as Matt's primary Bio attack; while Ivy is slightly stronger and better at Poisoning foes, it's usually better saved for giving NoLegs Bio coverage.
