The Mecha Suit is a female armor found in Epic Battle Fantasy 5. Its hat counterpart are the Robot Ears. It is currently exclusive to the paid Steam release of the game and the Battle Demo.

Description

The Mecha Suit is a metallic silver dress with metal boots and armguards, decorated with dark red lines and trim. It also comes with dark red stockings with thin red "circuit" lines; if the "Cleavage" option has been disabled, the wearer's arms and chest are covered by a similar material.

Normal

The Mecha Suit has the best HP of any female armor, along with the second-best Defence (tied with the Spider Gown), the third-best Magic Defence, and very minor boosts to Attack and Magic Attack. Its special effects are comparatively limited; it powers up Bomb skills and can randomly summon a Cat Bomber to hit a foe with some magical Bomb damage and potential Stagger.

The Mecha Suit's best asset is its incredible bulk, allowing its wearer to endure significantly more punishment from either side of the offensive spectrum. However, a lack of support effects can leave it outclassed by the likes of the Cow Costume or the Maid Outfit; it also suffers from a fairly common elemental weakness. Its elemental boost is particularly useful for Anna, but the Camo Skirt is better for Bomb builds due to its superior offenses.

The Mecha Suit resists both Bio and Bomb, but has a weakness to Thunder. Its weakness does not change as it is upgraded, and its resistances max out at 50% once it's fully upgraded.

Equip Remix

The Alt Mecha Suit is a balanced armor with great Defence, good Magic Defence, modest Attack, Magic Attack, and Accuracy, and a tiny HP increase. It enhances the power of Bomb skills, but its main assets are defensive in nature: when fully upgraded, it allows the wearer to absorb Thunder damage while occasionally granting her Defend between turns.

The Alt Mecha Suit works best in a bulky attacker build; its good defenses and auto-status allow its wearer to take quite a beating while returning fire with its reasonable offensive stats and letting her allies handle support. It's a little easier to use for Anna than Natalie, since she has more balanced offenses and a natural skill to exploit its elemental boost; the armor's Accuracy also mitigates the downside of the Alt Iron Tusk to maximize her Bomb damage.

The Alt Mecha Suit resists Thunder and Stun, but has a weakness to Water that remains constant at all forging levels. At Level 5, it becomes completely immune to Stun and absorbs Thunder.

Epic Battle Fantasy 5

The Mecha Suit is found inside a chest in one of the puzzle rooms of the Mineshaft Maze, together with the Robot Ears. The chest is revealed when the player solves the walk-once puzzle.
