Monster Vines
Monster Vines, also known as Thorny Vines, is a Bio-elemental skill in Epic Battle Fantasy 4, used primarily by foes or through the special effects of equipment. In the v3 update of EBF4, it was introduced as a special skill available to Lance and Anna.
Description
The skill summons a mass of large, green segmented vines out of the ground, each one ending in a sharp white spike and two small leaves. The vines shoot up across the screen, damaging the opponents as they appear. This deals physical, Bio-elemental damage, and, when used by foes, also has a slim chance to Poison the targets.

Monster Vines was introduced as a learnable special skill with the v3 update. It can be acquired from a chest in the Battle Mountain, specifically on the screen east of the Rainbow Rafflesia.
When used by foes, it has lower elemental degree, less randomness, and has a minor chance of inflicting Poison.
Though named differently (Thorny Vines instead of Monster Vines), the Premium-exclusive Thorn Bow (bow) added in the Battle Mountain update can also cast the same skill randomly between turns. Pre-v3 this utilized the same stats as the foe version (and thus had lower element degree and randomness, and could inflict Poison), while after the update it now uses the new player version's stats instead.
