Golden Armor
The Golden Armor is a male armor in Epic Battle Fantasy 4. It is exclusive to the Steam release of the game and the Premium Pack.
It does not have any hat counterparts.
Description
The Golden Armor is a suit of heavy-duty scale armor made out of gold. It also has brown leather sleeves and pants, which sport golden metal cuffs. If worn by Matt, it adds a tattered red cape.
The Golden Armor has a modest HP boost backing superb defenses; its Magic Defence is tied with the Dark Armor for the best of any male armor, while its Defence is second only to the Knight Armor. It also boasts an immunity to three common elements when fully upgraded, and buffs the wearer's Defence if he suffers a powerful attack.
Befitting its very late location, the Golden Armor is a fantastic defensive option for Matt or Lance, boasting incredible bulk and versatile resistances with absolutely no downsides. It may not always be the best choice for a given situation - particularly when an offensive approach is required - but it's one of the best day-to-day armors available.
The Golden Armor resists Fire, Ice and Thunder, becoming immune to all of them at Level 5.
Epic Battle Fantasy 4
The Golden Armor is found on Battle Mountain, specifically in the top-right chest on the cloudy screen to the east of the Dark Players' lair. The chest is guarded by a nine-wave battle with foes from the Temple of Godcat, which appears as an Ancient Monolith in the overworld; additionally, the Winged Boots are required to get this far.
