Bullet Bob is an advanced Bomb-elemental skill available for Matt, Lance and NoLegs in Epic Battle Fantasy 5.

Description

When cast, a big black bullet with orange eyes and a jagged orange grin appears in front of the target. It quickly flies through them, dealing physical Bomb damage with a better-than-normal chance of inflicting a critical hit.

With decent power and high critical chance, Bullet Bob is a good choice in a physical build for any of the three characters that can learn it; Matt and NoLegs welcome the Bomb coverage, while Lance appreciates a Bomb-based skill that lacks the cooldown turn of Machine Guns.

Foe Users

Some foes can use a multi-target version of Bullet Bob, allowing them to hit all players at once.

Bullet Bob is a reward for completing Weeb's quest in Rainbow River, on the same screen as the Slime Cat. To complete the quest, gather Big Batteries by defeating the enemies on the same screen.

Bullet Bob becomes Big Bullet at Level 3.

Trivia

  • Bullet Bob is an obvious nod to the Bullet Bill enemies from the Mario franchise. Both are black missiles with intimidating facial expressions, and share nearly the same name (Bob and Bill are both common names that start with "B").
    • Bullet Bob's jagged smile may be a further reference to Banzai Bills, the larger counterparts of Bullet Bills who have a fang-filled mouth in addition to their angry eyes. Alternatively, it may be a reference to Bullet Biff, a Bullet Bill variant from Super Mario Land whose artwork depicts it with a toothy mouth instead of the arms of a Bullet Bill.
  • Bullet Bob is essentially the physical counterpart of Energy. Both are Bomb-elemental shared skills that have high critical chances instead of on-hit status effects or debuffs.
