The Chieftain's Horns are a Wind-elemental bow available for Anna in Epic Battle Fantasy 5.

Description

The Chieftain's Horns are a bow made of four large horns (possibly a bull, based on their menu description) with some grey-brown fur at the base, tied together in pairs with leather straps. The larger horns have small brown triangle marks at their base and are connected to each other by a smaller bone piece. A pair of small white feathers adorn the upper limb of the bow, affixed near the base of the smaller horn.

The arrows of the Chieftain's Horns have a dull brown shaft that seems to be made from a single carved twig, with two white feathers at the tail.

Normal

The Chieftain's Horns are a defense/support oriented bow that grants small bonuses to Attack, Magic Attack, Defence and Magic Defence, along with a good boost to HP and three elemental resistances. They grant passive healing and Bless to the party by casting Refresh between turns, increase the power of Anna's buffs, and can debuff the enemies' Magic Defence with weapon-elemental attacks (including their own Normal Attack counter). Said skills also apply Light to give Wind skills a boost, but Anna should let her allies take advantage of that; while the bow empowers her own Wind magic, they're held back by their poor offensive stats.

The Chieftain's Horns resists Earth, Bomb, and Holy, none of which become an immunity at Level 5.

Equip Remix

The Alt Chieftain's Horns have decent Attack, Magic Attack, Defence and Magic Defence, but a lack of elemental boosts hampers their damage output. However, raw damage is not their intended purpose; instead, they should be used to deliver an unforgiving barrage of ailments and Magic Attack debuffs by countering enemy attacks with Arrow Rain. The bow's innate status effect is Weaken, but the right Flairs allow it to spread whichever status most benefits Anna and her allies.

On the defensive side, the Alt Chieftain's Horns can randomly provide Morale for Anna between turns, giving her some leeway to tank attacks and retaliate with Arrow Rain. The bow can also summon a Wise Mirror to Bless the entire party (including backup), helping prevent foes from hitting them with status ailments or removing their buffs.

The Alt Chieftain's Horns resist Earth and Wind, with neither becoming an immunity at Level 5. 

Epic Battle Fantasy 5

The Chieftan's Horns are found inside a chest in the Mystic Woods, accessible once the player solves the lever puzzle in front of the tree.
