Blessed Arrow

Blessed Arrow (called Soul Arrow in Epic Battle Fantasy 4) is a Holy-elemental skill available for Anna in Epic Battle Fantasy 4 and 5.

Description

When cast, Anna fires a single yellow arrow at her target. A cloud of glowing "bubbles" emerges from the target and drifts towards the party as it fades.

In EBF4, Soul Arrow deals physical Holy damage with a notably high chance to inflict Weaken. It also has the ability to "copy" (de)buffs; if any of the target's stats are buffed to a higher degree than Anna's equivalent stat, these (de)buffs will replace the user's. Although theoretically useful if Anna is suffering from serious stat drops, this is typically rather situational, especially since Soul Arrow's associated status actively debuffs the victim's offensive stats over time.

In EBF5, Blessed Arrow no longer has the ability to copy buffs, instead focusing on single-target Holy damage and potential Weaken infliction. As with most basic skills in EBF5, it's serviceable until it can be upgraded to its stronger form.

Before the v2 update, Soul Arrow copied the target's (de)buff status regardless of whether the user's (de)buffs were higher or lower than the target's (which was usually detrimental to the player).

Epic Battle Fantasy 5

This skill was renamed Blessed Arrow, which becomes Blessed Barrage at Level 3. It no longer copies the buffs of foes and inflicts slightly less Weaken on contact, but its elemental degree was increased to 100% and its power and status chance per level are significantly higher.
